ULD Management of Austrian Airlines by Jettainer & LH Cargo

Half a year after the successful takeover of Austrian Airlines’ freight business by Lufthansa Cargo, from today, Jettainer and Lufthansa Cargo sign responsible as well for the group’s ULD fleet management.

Jettainer is taking over the entire ULD fleet of Austrian Airlines. All ULDs will be fully integrated into the Lufthansa pool at Jettainer. Austrian Airlines expects synergies and cost savings from the integration.

For Jettainer, a further growth in its operational network as well as a new repair hub in Vienna mean new chances and challenges. Alexander Plümacher, Managing Director of Jettainer:”We are making sure Austrian Airlines will receive a premium service from Jettainer.
