Peter Ahnert strengthens Jettainer’s

DENVER / RAUNHEIM, Germany– March 1 , 2006 — Global ULD management company Jettainer, today named Peter Ahnert as its new director of business development, responsible for sales and strategic business expansion worldwide.
Before joining Jettainer Ahnert was managing consultant and principal for Lufthansa Consulting’s Air Cargo Business Consulting Practice . There he was charged with project acquisition, project management and the development of new consulting services. Ahnert has also worked in different roles on air cargo and logistics related assignments for a variety of airline and airport clients worldwide. He was project manager for the conceptual process and material handling systems design for the aircraft spares warehouse of a major carrier in the Middle East . In another position Ahnert was responsible for the optimization of the central ULD supply management for Lufthansa Cargo in Frankfurt .

In addition to client assignments, Ahnert has been involved in building up leadership of a Process Management Practice within Lufthansa Consulting, comprising a team of up to 25 consultants. He started his career as a management trainee of Lufthansa German Airlines in various operational and administrative departments, including air cargo and airport operations. Ahnert holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering of Transportation and Logistics from the University of Applied Sciences , Bremerhaven , Germany.
