Jettainer’s present network covers approximately 400 airports worldwide where we ensure that our customers have access to the ULDs they need when they need them. With every airline that joins Jettainer’s ULD pool, this network expands and becomes denser as we extend our reach to serve our customers’ requirements at all the places they operate.

An extensive global network provides flexibility and more options to airlines.  Do you want to start services to a new destination?  No problem, Jettainer will most likely be there already.  If not, we’ll make sure ULDs will be there to meet your inaugural flight.

The advantages of large geographical reach and network density are multifold:

	a greater ability to balance the flows of individual airlines
	reduced need and distances for positioning, hence lower empty ULD miles
	repairs performed at or close to the breakage location
	synergies at stations served by several Jettainer customer airlines

All these advantages accumulate to higher efficiency, increased responsiveness and lower overall stock levels of airlines’ ULD supply chain. The result: improved service levels at lower costs.

Thanks to our large fleet and network, you are likely to come across Jettainer ULDs at many airports you serve. And that is beneficial for your ULD availability. A large fleet also means access for our customers to economies of scale in purchasing and repair and the possibility to address ad-hoc, temporary ULD demands both quickly and economically. Another advantage of our large fleet is the ability to leverage investments for new technologies and/or any future regulatory requirements over a larger amount of ULDs.

By balancing ownership costs with expenses and the practical feasibility of positioning empty ULDs, Jettainer aims at minimizing the costs of ULD usage for our customers, not at the reduction of the total ULD inventory alone.
