It began in 2004 when Germany's Lufthansa Cargo AG teamed with leading U.S. mobile asset management company TrenStar, Inc. to jointly form Jettainer.  Before forming Jettainer, Lufthansa Cargo was looking to outsource ULD management.  Having searched the marketplace and finding no suitable provider, the idea for Jettainer was conceived. Naturally Lufthansa Cargo became Jettainer's first customer.  Jettainer blends the asset management, tracking technology and pooling expertise of TrenStar with the critical airline and air cargo operations experience of Lufthansa Cargo to offer the industry's most comprehensive ULD management solution to the world's leading airlines.
